Andrea Raynor
Lecturer of Photography, Northeastern University
Andrea Raynor has been a full time lecturer in photography at Northeastern University since 2003. She
has been the director of the Venice Italy Study Abroad Program since 2009. She received her
undergraduate degree from Maine College of Art and her MFA in Photography from School of Visual Arts
in New York.
Her current photographic work is taken in San Michele Cemetery in Venice Italy. The images were found
on grave sites and are unmanipulated, their degradation is formed over time. She is also currently working
on a series of paintings and photographs influenced by her research on Byzantine mosaics.
