A trip to Burano on Wednesday allowed the students to do work for their next assignment, based on light and color. Burano, known as the lace-making island in the Venice lagoon, is a fantastic display of colors at their brightest. Home after home is painted brightly, with no two neighbors alike (there is even a law against it!). Here are our favorite shots from the critique that followed:
